Ambassador Program
Become a Chamber Ambassador!
An Opportunity For
You...
Every so often, a chamber member distinguishes him
or herself by showing an exceptional dedication to the success of
the chamber and its events. Such members qualify for consideration
as Chamber Ambassadors. They have a very special place in the
continued prosperity of the chamber they represent and, by
extension, the success of the community in which they live and work.
Chamber Ambassadors are exactly what the term
implies. They help members in fully realizing the benefits of their
membership. At the same time, Ambassadors also serve as a conduit
for information back to the Chamber officers and staff, helping the
chamber to gain a better understanding of its members needs and
how best to meet those needs. You'll find these dedicated
chamber volunteers welcoming newcomers at Networking at Noon and
Business After Hours , as well as at Grand Openings and Ribbon
Cuttings.
Each month, the Chamber recognizes a member who
goes above and beyond the call of duty with its
"Ambassador" status. Ambassadors enjoy public recognition
in the Chambers monthly "BusinessLinks" newsletter, on
the Chamber website, and at all chamber events in which they
participate. They also win prizes and, once a year at the Chambers
annual Business Awards Luncheon, one of their number is singled out
with the honor of "Ambassador of The Year."Although the
position may bring with it no paycheck, it is not without
compensation, for chamber Ambassadors enjoy the satisfaction of
knowing that theyre working directly for the growth and
development of the community they love.
